General Admission Requirements

  • Student must be 20+ years old and genuinely passionate about the hospitality industry.
  • Student must hold a higher diploma level qualification from HTMi or other internationally recognized hospitality management institute.
  • Students required to haver English level by interview / HTMi test or have TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6 or equivalent HTMi English Placement Test Score.
  • Prior work experience: 1 year, may include work placements/internships

Program Information

  • Mode of delivery: Face-to-face, blended learning platforms, online, research, student centred learning, tutorials, lecture, presentations, assessments, project based assignments, and applied learning.
  • Final assessment: Written exams and final projects.
  • Graduation requirements: 60%
  • Average student-teacher ratio: 15 students per 1 teacher
  • Duration of program: Academic Study: 20 Weeks and Work Placement / Internship: 20-24 Weeks


Upon completion of the fourth year – Bachelor level - student will have high chances of being placed on an internship position in one of the leading hotel brands in UAE in any of the following departments: Food and Beverage, Reservations, Front Office, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, VIP Guest services, Finance or Operations management roles in more challenging positions with higher responsibilities. HTMi Switzerland Dubai guarantees paid internship placement upon successful accomplishment of the academic semester with one of its industry partners. Our Career Center's purpose is helping each and every student to find the right internship. Regular workshops are conducted to develop your communication skills, to help you overcome any difficulties. You will be given guidance to build your CV, your LinkedIn profile and practice sessions are regularly held to demonstrate interview skills and increase your confidence.


Students who successfully complete the program (academic study and work placement/internship) will be awarded with the Bachelor, BA Degree International Hospitality and Events Management by HTMi, Hotel and Tourism Management Institute Switzerland.
Bachelor graduates can continue on to the Post Graduate Diploma in International Hotel Events Management program in Dubai or Swiss campuses.
